William Charles Dyzart

William Dyzart was one of those people who seemed to want to be discovered, he almost jumped out of the 1891 Census where his place of birth was stated as "Unknown, found abandoned" and thus began a fascinating journey of discovery for Duncan Amos, our Research Coordinator.

While it has proved impossible to trace, or even speculate on, his true parentage, his story has been traced from his abadonment to the present day and it turs out to be a story with a happy ending.
